There are several devices of use to asthmatics and there has been one developed to read your CO 2 levels as you learn to correct your breathing to control your CO 2 levels correctly.

It is called the CapnoTrainer. It gives a breath by breath concentration of CO2 in the alveoli.

We know nothing about, nor can we report yet on this machine but mention it here so you know of its existence and you can research it, and we will, when we get time to work it in. Right now we have no experience with it.

They claim, this machine which attaches to your computer, allows you Learn and teach good breathing behavior with the CapnoTrainer Monitor and record CO2 and heart rate variability.

This should allow you to observe differences in your CO 2 levels as you do different things and allow you to learn what works, to raise your CO 2 levels.

This may turn out to be similar use as diabetics use the finger prick blood test meter to monitor blood sugar, basically to learn what works in controlling it.
